Lee Harvey Oswald handcuffed to Dallas Police Detective Jim Leavellis during a transfer from the Dallas Police Department to the county jail, was gunned down by Jack Ruby. Jack Ruby was arrested for the murder of Oswald. He died in prison on March 1, 1967
